Allosaurus was a large carnivorous dinosaur that lived during the Late Jurassic period, around 155 to 145 million years ago. It was one of the most feared predators of its time. Allosaurus was a bipedal dinosaur, meaning it stood on two legs. It was also a theropod, which means it had sharp teeth and claws. Allosaurus was a very large dinosaur, measuring up to 40 feet long and weighing up to 3 tons! Allosaurus was a very successful predator. It had a large skull with sharp teeth, and powerful claws on its hands and feet. Allosaurus also had excellent eyesight and hearing, which helped it to find its prey. Allosaurus hunted other dinosaurs, such as stegosaurus, diplodocus, and apatosaurus. Allosaurus was first discovered in 1877, in the United States. Since then, many fossils of Allosaurus have been found, making it one of the best-known dinosaurs.
