Last Supper explained to kids

The Last Supper is a painting by the Italian artist Leonardo da Vinci. It is a scene from the Bible in which Jesus Christ and his disciples are sharing a meal before Jesus is betrayed and crucified. All of the disciples are looking at Jesus, except for Judas Iscariot, who is looking down and away from Jesus. The Last Supper is an important work of art because of its religious significance and its artistic value. The painting is a masterful example of Leonardo's skill as a painter. It is also an important historical document because it provides a record of how people lived in the 15th century.
