Creation myth explained to kids
There are many different creation myths from around the world. They all explain how the world was created and how humans came to be.
One popular creation myth is the story of Prometheus. Prometheus was a Titan who created humans from clay. He also gave them the gift of fire, which angered the gods. As punishment, Prometheus was chained to a rock where an eagle would eat his liver every day.
Another popular creation myth is the story of Adam and Eve. In this story, God created humans from dust and then breathed life into them. He placed them in a beautiful garden called Eden. They were allowed to eat from any tree in the garden except for one. God told them that if they ate from that tree, they would die.
One day, Eve was tempted by a snake to eat from the forbidden tree. She did, and she gave some of the fruit to Adam. As punishment, they were both banned from the Garden of Eden.
