The rainy season is from October to April. The dry season is from May to September. During the dry season, the savanna has very little rainfall. The soil in a savanna is rich in nutrients. This is because the savanna has a lot of decomposing plants. The savanna is home to many different animals. These include lions, elephants, giraffes, and zebras. The savanna is a very important ecosystem. It helps to regulate the climate and the weather.
