The climate in Libya is mostly desert. The economy of Libya is mostly based on oil and gas. Tourism is also an important part of the economy. The people of Libya are mostly Arab and Berber. Islam is the largest religion in Libya. Libya is divided into three historical regions: Tripolitania in the northwest, Cyrenaica in the east, and Fezzan in the southwest.
